To celebrate the beautiful history of silk—a fabric that has connected the East and the West for 4,700 years—we’ve collaborated with artist Martynka(@kwiatyna), a unique silk scarf adorned with symbols of Chinese culture, happiness, and good fortune.
The idea for the Fú scarf was born during a trip to China. On the Great Wall, I saw Martynka—the daughter of a friend of mine and a graphic design student—intently focused on her work. She was creating with such focus, as if the Great Wall were her private studio. That’s when I proposed a collaboration. She agreed.
The Fú scarf’s pattern features a dragon bringing good fortune, Empress Lei Zu—the legendary discoverer of silk—blooming peonies, golden mountains, a pagoda, a carp symbolizing perseverance, a tortoise representing longevity, golden coins of good fortune, and the character 福, which means “happiness” in Chinese.
The Fú silk scarf is more than just an elegant accessory. It’s a story of cultural encounters, feminine creativity, travel, and symbols that have carried good wishes for centuries.
